Today Monday 11th April 2011 marked a very important date in the history of ‘freedom’ for the world. From this day any woman in France caught wearing a Burqa (face veil) in any public place will be fined and put on a citizenship course. Any person who is accused of forcing a woman to wear the Burqa can face up to 2 years in prison. Of course women aren’t allowed to re-adorn the face veil if it is found that there are no oppressive Muslim men pulling their strings because the French liberal state knows what is best for Muslim women. பிரான்சில் முஸ்லிம் பெண்களின் உடை உரிமைகளை மறுக்கும் சட்டத்துக்கும் , முகத்தை மூடி உடையணிந்தால் அந்த பெண்களை குற்றவாளியாக பார்க்கும் அரச சட்டத்தையும் எதிர்த்து இன்று புத்தளத்தில் பெண்கள் அமைப்பு ஒன்று ஏற்பாடு செய்த கூட்டமும் அமைதி எதிர்ப்பும் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது என்று எமது lankamuslim.org செய்தியாளர் தெரிவிக்கின்றார்.
முஸ்லிம் பெண்கள் முகத்தை மூடி உடையணிவது கடமை என்ற நிலை இல்லாதபோதும் பலர் விரும்பி அதை அணியும் போது அதை தடுப்பதும் அதை சட்ட படி குற்றமாக சட்டம் அமுல்படுத்துவதும் அவர்களை குற்றவாளிகளாக கையாண்டு சிறையில் அடைப்பதும், நடு வீதில் வைத்து அவர்களின் உடையை அகற்றுவதும் பெண்கள் மீதான அப்பட்டமான உரிமை மீறல் என்பதற்கும் மேலாக முஸ்லிம் பெண்கள் மீதான பயங்கரவாதம் என்று அமைதி ஆர்பாட்டத்தில் கலந்து கொண்டவர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
அந்த கூட்டமும் அமைதி எதிர்ப்பும் புத்தளம் முஸ்லிம் கலாச்சார மண்டபத்தில் இன்று மாலை 4:30 அளவில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது புத்தளம் அன்பா பெண்கள் அமைப்பின் தலைவி சித்தி சலீமா தலைமையில் இந்த நிகழ்வுகள் இடம் பெற்றதாகவும் கூட்டத்தில் புத்தளம் மாவட்ட ஜம்இய்யத்துல் உலமா தலைவர் அப்துல்லாஹ் மஹ்மூத் ஆலிம் மற்றும் முன்னாள் யாழ்ப்பாண பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் டாக்டர் இல்யாஸ் ஆகியோரும் கலந்து கொண்டார் என்று அறிய முடிகின்றது என்று எமது செய்தியாளர் தெரிவிக்கின்றார்.
கடந்த ஏப்ரல் 11 ஆம் திகதி முதல் பிரான்ஸ் நிகாப் உடைக்கு தடை விதித்துள்ளது பிரான்ஸில் அலுவலகங்களில் நிகாப்பை மற்றும் பாடசாலைகளில் முஸ்லிம் மாணவிகள் அணியும் ஹிஜாப் போன்ற இஸ்லாமிய உடைகளை தடை செய்யும் சட்டம் ஏற்கனவே நடைமுறையில் உள்ளது அந்த சட்டத்தை மேலும் விரிவாகியுள்ள பிரான்ஸ் அனைத்து பொது இடங்களிலும் நிகாப்பை -முகத்தை மூடி அணியும் உடை- அணிவதை தடை செய்யும் சட்டம் ஒன்றை அமுல் படுத்தியுள்ளது என்பது குறிபிடத்தக்கது.
